Great casa in good location!

A fine casa. After three weeks Cuba again a constantly hot shower with sufficient pressure. It was a real pleasure. The room is spacious and the breakfast good. Unfortunately not with the fresh fruits we had received at previous casas. Behind the house a terrace to sit outside (no view). Hostess speaks English and is helpful. She wanted to book us a restaurant which unfortunately was closed during our stay. The casa is really just steps from the beach next to Josone Park.
In short, this casa is worth repeating.

The property is sparkling clean. Yamila and Yuri are great hosts. They are awailable for any needed information. I would highly recoment Papo's house for longer stay, especially for families and couples, since the beach is within 5 min walk distance.
When we will retyrn to Cuba we will stay at Papis house again for sure.

Great home base in Varadero - steps from the beach!

Fabulous spot within steps of the beach! Safe for families, nice rooms sporting interesting decor with ensuite bathrooms. Delicious breakfast and a lovely rooftop patio to relax and play cards. Jamilla helped us with restaurant suggestions and taxi arrangements and generally made our stay smooth and comfortable. The only improvement would have been to offer water in the room fridges and beach umbrellas - there is no shade on the beach like there is at the adjacent resorts!

Helpful Host

Great location - 100 yards to the beach which is post card perfect. There are two bars at the end of the road - one (Bar 55) had an excellent cuban band playing through the happy hour period and the Mojitos helped. The casa is a bit careworn after the Covid crisis but our room had a newly refitted bathroom and we were satisfied with the whole experience. What was outstanding was the help our host gave when we needed to fill in our Spanish PLF. My Android phone would not show both the emailed code and the SpTH site but a combination of the hosts laptop and her son's phone as a hot spot got the job done in 20 minutes.
