Nice breakfast but expensive for a family
We did find the room unsafe for small children as there was a double bed in the downstairs room and 3 single beds for the children on the floor above the room. The stairs were very steep and unsafe if a child needed to visit the bathroom during the night. There was a gate at the top of the stairs.
My daughter ended up sleeping downstairs with the two younger children and I slept upstairs with the older child. She had been told to wake me up if she needed to visit the bathroom during the night.

Charming B&B in the french countryside
Well signposted from the motorway and not hard to find. Friendly reception, comfortable beds and a good breakfast.
An ideal way to start Le Roadtrip.

Lovely traditional hotel
If you want a mainstream hotel with a cold breakfast buffet you should stay at the Novotel but if you want something more traditional and special this is a great find!
The caretaker was very kind and flexible and spoke pretty good English
My daughter loved the upstairs kids room for her and there was a cot for my son
It was beautiful and we personally found the breakfast to be lovely! (Traditional French breakfast)
Thanks for a great stay - perfect if sailing to/from Calais!
