Excellent hotel in a prime location

I booked the hotel together with my daughter for 10 nights (Deluxe Twin) on a city break. It was an excellent choice. The room and bathroom are not overly large, but this is normal by Seoul standards in this price range. The room was well maintained and clean with daily reliable room service. The reception staff, cleaners and breakfast area staff were discreet but very friendly and accommodating. Also worth mentioning is the breakfast buffet, which has something to offer for all tastes, is super delicious and very rich and varied. You may be used to a slightly different breakfast in Europe - but you travel to other countries to get to know something new. Especially the kimchi for breakfast - a treat!

The location of the hotel is also outstanding - between Jogyesa Temple and Insadong Culture Street with a lot of dining and shopping venues. Two subway stations a few hundred meters away, good bus connections as well as numerous attractions such as Bukchon Hanok Village, Gwanghwamun, Cheonggycheon and Gyeongbokgung and Changdeokgung Palaces are within walking distance.
I can absolutely recommend the place and would book it again immediately on another visit to Seoul.

Hotel okay, but be wary of the location and rallies that may occur

The hotel itself is actually okay - room size, amenities and convenience to metro and stuff. But, it is next to where they frequently host political rallies and we have had non-stop noise and crowds that make it uncomfortable to walk through as you don't know what is going on. Since you cannot plan for when rallies will turn up, I would not recommend this location. Also, just note, you cannot control room temperature. When we asked how to lower our room temperature, we were told to open the window which made the considerable noise truly unbearable. In short, I would never choose to return here.

The location was convenient being very close to Insadong street, however it was very noisy. Also, the walls are SO thin, i can hear the next door person cough or sneeze, among other things... (if you know what i mean) to the point where i had to bang on the wall to 'request' some consideration of volume. My best guess is that the beds are on the same wall..
So, though the property itself was convenient and comfortable for the most part, as someone traveling with a young child, i do not think i would return to stay here again.

Lovely hotel with lovely service, Rooms are spacious and have a great view of the temple (we got the temple view room tho). Really convenient located in a shopping centre and with a convenience store downstairs. Good location in Insadong, walkable to some major attractions.
