Great place
Staff was very friendly and helpful, room was great! Did have one issue and maintenance came right away to fix it! Definitely will return! Location was perfect! Check in was easy and fast. Front desk has a text system that checks in with you making sure your stay is accommodating to your needs.

Overall the experience was pretty awful. I was not able to check into my room until almost an hour and a half past check in due to the room needing to be cleaned by housing. This made my guest and I miss our reservations we had set for dinner. As we were filling out paperwork to finally check in after an hour and a half past 4 PM (when we got there 10 minutes prior to our check in time at 4 PM), the cleaning staff came in to take their break, and they were laughing and singing and playing around, which would have been fine if we would not have been waiting for them to get their job done in order for us to get into the room we paid for. The staff person working on 4/4 around 5:30 PM apologized for the inconvenience which I appreciated, and she explained that hopefully some compensation could be found for us. I asked if we could check out an hour and a half late since we were not able to check in on time, but I was denied this request on several different occasions or told to ask the next worker who was working the day of. When we finally got into the room, it was not super clean. There was trash such as a hotel shampoo bottle, a cap, plastic debris, and dirt in the corner of the front room and a used styrofoam cup out on the balcony. So I do not understand why if we checked in so late that it was not cleaner. I then saw after my stay that I was charged $40.40 and have not been told why I was charged with this after calling about it. I do not recommend this place to stay at all

My family’s spring break.
clean, spacious, beautiful view, quiet, all necessary kitchen ammenties, friendly staff.. disadvantages were lack of house keeping, i ran out of toilet paper twice & no one came to change the trash my whole stay even when i was told to sit it by the door & they would come get it, no one ever did. i ran out of towels, when i asked for more they gave me trash bags & instructed me to return to my room 5 floors up to collect the old ones & bring them back down to retrieve more.

The bed was comfortable and pillows plentiful. Reasonable clean for beachfront property (there was sand in the corners of the room and bathroom) the bed nearest the door suffered from lack of cool air due to the poor design of the room (501). Quiet peaceful location, very friendly staff. Needs refurbishing. I was transferred here from beachcomber without ANY prior notification! The reason I choose beachcomber is location and room layout plus 2 ac units. I was told the property was recently refurbished and was actually more expensive than beachcomber. Neither were/are true! The hot tub has been paved over and the pool deck is in poor condition. If you want a quiet location away from everything you go to Panama City Beach for this is it. Make sure you get a bargain rate. On-site laundry is across the street in a separate building that looks much worse for wear. Staff was great but By The Sea Resorts really dropped the ball with this transfer. I'll probably choose another property from a different company next time I visit the beach

Great place
It is not Holliday Express or Marriott it is older in renovation progress place nice vibe heated pool very welcome very clean fantastic views motel friendly front desk sending you text messages constantly asking you about your needs place will definitely come back in
