Luxury of the Twenties

We were with a group of the Imserso, so we can't have a say in the free market prices. Apart from the thermal spring, the main attraction of the spa is the historic building. It is perfectly in accordance with the original project that hangs at the entrance of the dining room. There is luxury of the happy twenties (of the twentieth century) in the ballroom, the revolving door of entrance, access to the thermal spring..). The flip side of the coin is that the maintenance of a hundred-year-old building that has suffered a civil war is a nightmare. Thus, the pine-tea floorboards creak, some windows are doomed, plugs are missing on the bedside tables... Put on the scales, the charm wins by beating. It is the same with the location, somewhat remote, half an hour from Reinosa by car by good road. There is a pharmacy in Soncillo and a petrol station in Cilleruelo de Bezana. In return, you can access (with your own vehicle) multiple points of interest on the two banks of the Ebro reservoir (Ornithological Center, Hermitage of the Snows, Juliobriga deposit, sanctuary of Montes Claros, Mount Hijedo, old church of Las Rozas, Arija beach...). On the side of the Merindades, Ojo Guareña and Espinosa de los Monteros. The hotel itself provides information from the surrounding area and the Reservoir Interpretation Centre in the village of Corconte is an excellent starting point. It is a real spa, not a spa to relax (at least with the Imserso); you spend a medical visit when you enter and are attended by qualified staff. All the staff, also the hospitality staff, are friendly and effective. High level of cleanliness. As usual in organized groups, lunches and dinners are at fixed times and in fixed positions; dishes are chosen from one day to the next. The food is homemade, with some local dishes. Dessert is monotonous. Breakfast stands out for being served in the stone gallery overlooking the reservoir. The buffet is varied, with better than average juice and freshly baked bread and pastries.

Charm and tranquility

The site is charming and retains the spirit of spas of another era. Huge, clean rooms, spa services and massage highly recommended. Great breakfast overlooking the reservoir and delicious churros. Recommended.

Family weekend

We found the spa of Corconte a lovely place. An ideal place to spend a weekend with the family, with a very close treatment. Very good food and great breakfast. The views of the Ebro Swamp amazing. Close to ideal villages of the Merindades and the Guareña National Eye Monument. We did not have time to visit the pools and treatments part, but we will definitely return.

Quite a discovery of peace and relaxation

A unique site
The quality of rest
The spaciousness and cleanliness of the rooms
The old bathroom, but it is the charm of the past, hot water and comfort of ten.
The landscapes, the temperature of the rooms, sleeping without air conditioning and with Nordic in August
Orbaneja of the castle, the port of the town, the loft in soncillo, the conchita in Corconte and the cart all stuffed, but acceptable.
There is another restaurant in town but it was closed for rest, I can't say

Stunning views, nature and tranquility.
Spacious and impeccable rooms.
The food is delicious and the breakfast buffet is very complete.
The staff very friendly and attentive.
We will repeat without hesitation.
