In addition, the room they automatically provided was not the "accessible" room I reserved, so back to the desk.
Note to Hilton: why are the accessible rooms as far from the entrance as possible? My guess is that in case of fire, they want them right next to one of the exits, but contemplate someone on a walker or cane or wheelchair having to roam the halls. One can, of course, drive to that distant entrance (and I did), but then you have to drive back to do luggage (the outer doors are problematic for luggage carts and the rear and side parking usually don't have much in the way of curb-less access).
Unlike virtually every other motel these days, the breakfast at the Garden Inn was not free: $13.50. It was slightly better than say a Hilton Home2Suites breakfast, but $26's worth?

Unfortunately all around the surrounding grassy areas had garbage scattered; looks like it came from Arbuda Dham based on the food garbage I walked around.
Room was spacious. Beds were soft for my preference. My son went to the pool. He said it was a little small yet water was lukewarm.
Overall, a great set up for dogs and a good value that is about a 7 minute drive to downtown St. Charles.
