Breathtaking views and boundless hospitality!

The breathtaking views at the Clover Hill Farm are matched only by the boundless hospitality and laid-back affability of the owners. Carolyn and Robert made me feel like family well before I set foot on their beautiful farm, calling me to provide some guidance on making myself at home in the event they were out upon my arrival. They were both kind enough to endure multiple stretches of my pontification, gave me a tour of their enchanting and down-home house, and even indulged some of my farm-life fantasies!
The menagerie of horses, beagles, chickens, geese, and my favorite - Murphy, the one-horned goat, form a lively backdrop to this idyllic refuge.
My room was spotless, full of country charm, and incredibly spacious. All the modern amenities, toiletries, etc. were graciously and thoughtfully provided.
The location truly offers the best of both worlds - the serenity of a sizable farm along with the convenient proximity to the wonderful Clark Art Institute, the Mass MOCA, and Williams College.
I truly can't wait to visit again, and introduce my family to this little slice of New England pastoral paradise and the wonderful people who call it home!

Most wonderful stay

Lots of cute animals including dogs, cats, horses, goats, most kind hosts, and an amazing view from very clean and cozy rooms, perfect stay for us as a family! We loved it and would hope to visit again if we are in Williamstown. Lots of good restaurants nearby, so very convenient.

Idyllic resting place

OK, first, don't stay here is you hate horses or dogs. With that out of the way, you'll love it here if you are seeking tranquility. It's just a block or two from Rte. 2, the main road through Williamstown, but it feels like it's in another county. We sat on the deck and watched the horses graze under the moon and couldn't have been more relaxed. We stayed in the garage apartment and had fabulous views and excellent privacy. We didn't require any sort of service, but gave them four stars for the well equipped room.

It is a working farm! A B and B with real character

We stayed here for a Williams graduation. What a fun place. You may be greeted by friendly goat or human. Suzie (the goat) is quite the character. You will enjoy southern hospitality in Massachusetts! Carolyn is very warm and her advice is spot on. Be aware that roosters crow early. You may want to ask for a room away from the coop. :)

Lovely view, low-key and comfortable accomodations

Peaceful and convenient. Carolyn is the ideal host - the kind that helps with anything, but leaves you alone too! A great stay for animal lovers and anyone that hates artificial or corporate-feeling lodging.
