A fabulous location close to the park entry which was fabulous to be able to leave the car in the car park and walk 100m to buy tickets and head down to the boat. It is a very large hotel and is easy yo locate and drive into off the main road. Our room was comfortable and clean. It was a little noisy when other patrons used their shower/baths. In room 214A the plumbing was quite noisy. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice and the cooked food was tasty. It was nice to complete the walk and be in a warm, comfortable room within 100m.

Disappointing Reception Service and Unreliable Transfer

The room and breakfast were quite ordinary, and I have no complaints about them. However, the service at the reception desk left me disappointed.
A day before my departure, I asked where the bus stop was. Instead of providing an explanation, a young man insisted that I use their transfer service. He made a note in his records, specifying the time I needed to be picked up from the hotel.
The next day, 15 minutes before the scheduled time, I approached the reception desk to remind them about me. I was reassured that everything was fine. However, at the agreed time, there was no transfer.
The receptionist called the driver and informed me that he would arrive in a minute. Fifteen minutes later, when he still hadn’t shown up, I asked for help resolving the situation. The young lady at the reception replied that she hadn’t personally promised me anything and that they only had one driver.
I don’t understand why they insist on promoting a service they can’t deliver, and why the reception staff believe they’re not responsible for promises made by the hotel. I would have walked to the bus stop myself if they had informed me from the start that they were having issues with the transfer.

Warm welcome, restaurant very bad experience.

Hotel staff welcomed us great, for that it would go 5*. Everything was great till we went for dinner in their restaurant.
For dinner I ordered stuffed veal and on first it looked ok but for price they charge you would expect more decorations on plate.
Veal was tough, gnoochi was cold and unfortunatelly veal was raw, not cooked. When waiter asked what is wrong she just joked about it and asked us for pancakes and told it is prize for us because of veal.
Wouldn't tell it is prize but appology for very bad service and food.

Good location, pleasant, helpful staff.

After some of the reviews, I wasn’t sure I’d be happy but our family had three rooms and we found the hotel to be most accommodating and pleasant. The room was large and we looked out onto a forest of snow loaded trees. We suspect they often accommodate tours so they did have some firm policies:2:00 is check in—-even when there really didn’t seem to be a hoard of guests and checkout is 11:00 but we did get to keep 1 room an extra hour. There were many seating, lounging, areas, a sauna and soaking area. They offered to make a reservation at a nearby restaurant for dinner that we wanted to try. We usually enjoy breakfasts in large hotels but would only rate this one okay——maybe because it was a slow, winter time—-not amazing or fresh. Great location near Entrance 1. Would we return—-sure but eat a big dinner so you can handle the breakfast.

An excellent geographical location

The big plus of this hotel: its geographical location 5 minutes walk from entrance no. 2 and the fact that parking is free.
The rooms, on the other hand, have not been renovated since the 70s and the lake view which should have existed originally has become a forest view because the trees have grown.
On the other hand, it is a concert of birds from morning to evening and it is very pleasant.
Very decent à la carte restaurant.
Factory-style breakfast among groups of tourists.
