Take a break

Very nice and warm family hotel. Very welcoming the location in the dunes is fantastic
Also the restaurant is delicious. A fine card for fair prices and a pleasant service.
The welcome was very friendly. We had the dog with us and it was also nicely received with a hug and a dog cookie.
Highly recommended we will definitely be back

heavily dated hotel with all kinds of defects.

Staff very unkind. The room is hot as hell. You can't control the temperature yourself.
The beds were translucent, duktape on the socket, but 1 lamp worked in the room. In the bathroom only hot water comes from the tap. Heavily dated hotel. Definitely not recommended this hotel.

Great location - poor facilities

For the third time I spent a short break in this hotel on the Dutch North Sea coast. The first two stays (2009 and 2013) were also so convincing that I thought I was right again this time. That's not the case. Meanwhile, hotel rooms, catering and outdoor facilities are more than outdated. No sign of renovation or at least visual optimization. The hotel room (a so-called "Suite") is so worn out and shows blatant traces of neglect, even refusal to clean up at least once properly. The highlight, however, are the mattresses, which are so stained and unhygienic that you lie down in bed with very mixed feelings despite mattress protectors and double sheets. At the reception one responds to complaints with a casual shrug: "That's just the way it is now." The location is unbeatable. A short and really breathtaking path through the dunes and you are already on the beautiful and extensive North Sea beach with typical beach gastronomy, here the "de Strandlooper". Two more pluses: Breakfast and parking are included. No longer a given in the hotel world today. Still, that was definitely the last time. The pictures say why.

Lovely, Modern and quite fancy beachside hotel.
It’s not cheap but probably the best hotel in this corner of France and the perfect hotel for a short weekend break.

Beautiful location but poor hotel

Beautifully located within walking distance of beach. Nice pretty big outdoor pool. Very friendly and helpful staff. Outdated rooms, sewer smell in bathroom, hard beds, disturbing noise from the ventilation on roof. The restaurant is closed on Sundays and Mondays.
