Hilton Myrtle Beach on New Years Eve

This hotel was reasonably priced based on what it offers. The location is perfect, and it is just steps from the beach. The front desk staff is friendly and attentive. My family and I stayed on NYE and celebrated the New Year at the beach. It was a lovely time, and my husband got his choice of drink at the hotel bar. The hotel was also clean, though the internet lounge in the lobby had a foul odor. The outdoor furniture and pool area were very nicely set up. I have a few recommendations for improvement on this property. The first is to ensure the hot tub is turned on, cleaned, and ready to go while the pool is open. The second is to update the rooms on the property. My final recommendation is to ensure the coffee at the downstairs cafe is not burned because I paid a lot for a coffee I could not drink. Myrtle Beach has many options, but this won't be another that we revisit. My family travels a lot, and this place did not wow us.

Very nice and easy beach access too. It's a buy!

Very nice place. All the rooms pretty much overlooked the ocean view great outside pool and Beach area easy access to the beach and pool bars are great Cool breeze and beautiful views right down on the beach. The room is nice it's clean and ample spaced. One thing, the bathroom is very small and tight and very difficult to maneuver. But it is very clean and has a glass shower door, no curtain!! Bed is very comfortable too. Service is fine very early morning coffee starts at 6:00 a.m. for us East coasters which is really great especially when you have an early morning flight. Also very close to highway 17 with many restaurants and activities up there. About 15 to 20 minutes from the boardwalk in the Grand strand so easy access to that as well. Would definitely stay here again.

ROOMS IN DIRE NEED OF RENOVATIONS

My wife & I stayed here on October 26, 2024 in advance of a scheduled stay at the Hilton Ocean Enclave. We typically always stay at Hilton properties as we're Hilton Honors members. Based on the pictures on the Hilton Website we selected the location @ 10000 Beach Club Drive in Myrtle Beach. We were given room 630 & it was never explained the hotel room was actually outside. After repeated calls from the 6th floor I walked down to be told to go outside which was not communicated @check-in. When we entered the room we were overwhelmed by a musty older. It reeked of mildew. The door seals were rusty, the balcony was covered in mold. The bath tub floor had a hole in the bottom which was poorly patched with something growing out of it. I can't believe this facility is allowed to use the Hilton Brand name. I explained all of this on check out and was told they would credit the $14 self parking fee. This hotel is in need of serious renovations to the rooms. The remodeled the loby but guest spend the bulk of the times in their room. You can't charge Hilton rates with a Motel 6 product. AVOID.

Can’t Believe This is A Hilton!

We are here for a conference. We had to walk outside to get to our room and the room wasn’t nearly as nice as we expect Hilton to be. The door would not close completely in the first room we were given so the door would not lock. Maintenance came up and got it to close enough so that one lock would work but there was still a crack in the door and cold air was flowing in. We asked for another room and we were given the room next door. As my husband was showering, the water turned off and would not come back on. He had to wipe soap off with a towel! Much later (after he had left for his meeting) it came back on. After looking at other reviews I saw that this had been a problem for some time. I called the front desk and was told someone would be up to check it out but no one came.
We will not be staying here again! And we are so disappointed that Hilton would put their name on a hotel like this!
